Retal Group is hiring a Senior Planning Engineer to join BCC in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is suitable for experienced planning professionals with 10–12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, particularly within large-scale construction, infrastructure, building, or mixed-use development projects.
The successful candidate will lead the project planning team, manage project schedules using Primavera P6, monitor progress, and provide performance insights to support effective project delivery. The position also involves monitoring design deliverables, procurement activities, and subcontractor schedules while identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions.
Candidates should have advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Power BI, strong analytical skills, and a good understanding of project forecasting, earned value analysis, project KPIs, and Extension of Time (EOT) claims. A strong command of English is required.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the project planning team and manage project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule delays, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and project performance updates.
- Monitor design deliverables, SDWG submissions, and procurement activities.
- Lead Extension of Time (EOT) claims and review subcontractors’ schedules.
- Develop project KPIs to evaluate project performance.
- Support forecasting and earned value analysis.
- Coordinate planning activities to maintain visibility into project milestones and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, buildings, or mixed-use development projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI.
- Experience with project performance reporting, forecasting, and earned value analysis.
- Knowledge of Extension of Time claims and subcontractor schedule reviews.
- Strong command of English.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
