About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Risk Management Director to lead our risk management function. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating organizational risks, including fraud, AML, terrorism financing, and cybersecurity threats. This role reports to senior leadership and plays a critical part in ensuring business continuity and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Lead risk assessments for all business operations, including fraud, AML, terrorism financing, and cybersecurity.
- Maintain and update the enterprise risk register across all departments.
- Implement SAMA's Business Continuity Framework and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct third-party risk assessments for vendors and partners.
- Develop and test disaster recovery and crisis management plans.
- Prepare periodic risk reports for executive management and the Board of Directors.
- Drive risk awareness programs and train employees on risk management best practices.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management within the financial sector (banking, payments, insurance, or fintech)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related)
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies
- Knowledge of SAMA regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with payment industry risks and fintech environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
