Collections Specialist

Yamm is building the post-purchase infrastructure for merchants. We help online and offline merchants deliver a fast, seamless, and transparent refund and return experience, turning what used to take 14 days into seconds. Our mission is to lead the post-purchase experience across MENA, making returns, exchanges, and store credits effortless for both merchants and customers.

We are looking for aCollections Specialist to own and manage the collections process across merchants and customers.

This role is critical to ensuring healthy cash flow, reducing overdue balances, and maintaining strong, professional relationships with our partners.

You’ll work closely with Finance, Operations, and Merchant Success teams to resolve payment issues efficiently while delivering a great experience.

• Manage and follow up on outstanding payments from merchants and customers.
• Proactively contact merchants via email, phone, and official channels to ensure timely settlements.
• Investigate overdue balances, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Negotiate payment plans or settlement schedules when needed, in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with Finance and Operations to resolve billing disputes or reconciliation issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.
• Prepare regular reports on aging, collection performance, and risk exposure.

• 1–3+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit control, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a professional, solutions-oriented approach.
