Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team and provide on-site support for managing and maintaining network infrastructure in our customer’s OT environment. The role involves configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cisco and Fortinet devices to ensure secure, stable, and high-performance network operations.
Key Responsibilities
➤ Network Operations & Maintenance
Monitor and manage the daily health and performance of switches, routers, and firewalls.
Install and configure Cisco and Fortinet devices, including VLANs, static routing, IP addressing, NAT, and VPNs.
Perform firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and restoration tasks.
➤ Troubleshooting & Escalation
Diagnose and resolve network issues; perform root cause analysis for recurring problems.
Coordinate with Cisco/Fortinet TAC for escalations and critical issue resolution.
Provide on-site support for connectivity and access-related issues.
➤ Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with IT, security, and systems teams to support cross-functional services (DNS, DHCP).
Coordinate with vendors for hardware support or replacement.
Maintain updated network topology diagrams, configuration records, and operational procedures.
➤ Continuous Improvement
Propose and implement networking best practices to enhance performance, availability, and security.
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet devices.
Knowledge of VLANs, NAT, VPNs, IP addressing, and routing protocols.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network performance issues.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
