DevOps Engineer Google Cloud Platform

We are looking for a skilled Dev Ops Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. EPAM is renowned for delivering cutting-edge technological solutions to transform businesses worldwide.

You will be part of a team building a Marketplace platform from the ground up, leveraging the latest cloud and Dev Ops technologies. The platform will be hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and orchestrated with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless application delivery
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and optimize cloud deployments on GCP
• Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable and resilient application hosting
• Ensure best practices in security, monitoring and reliability across the Dev Ops lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or similar role
• Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Experience with cloud-native application deployment and management
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Fluent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
• An academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) certificate (or eligibility to obtain) is required for this position

Nice to have

• Experience with other CI/CD tools and cloud platforms
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and Dev Ops
• Fluent Arabic communication skills (B2 level or higher)

Nature of Work and Working Hours

The usual working hours for full-time roles at EPAM in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary based on client requirements and flexibility is accommodated whenever possible.
