Architectural Engineer – Maintenance & Fit-; F&B Projects

The Architectural Engineer – Maintenance & Fit-Out (F&B Projects) is responsible for maintaining the physical condition of all company locations while managing maintenance, refurbishment, and fit-out projects. The role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, visually consistent, and aligned with company standards, budgets, and project timelines.

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all company locations.
• Coordinate and monitor daily maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure maintenance requests are completed within agreed service levels.
• Maintain maintenance records, schedules, and asset history.

• Conduct regular site inspections to evaluate building conditions and identify maintenance needs.
• Prepare technical reports with recommendations for repairs and improvements.
• Ensure facilities meet company standards and operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve building performance and reduce maintenance costs.

• Manage fit-out, renovation, and refurbishment projects from planning to completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to approved specifications.
• Verify compliance with company design standards and operational requirements.

• Source, evaluate, and coordinate contractors and suppliers.
• Review quotations, technical proposals, and project scope.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, and project progress.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards and contractual requirements.

• Ensure maintenance and fit-out activities comply with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure proper project documentation.
• Conduct final inspections before project handover.
• Ensure all completed work meets company quality standards.

• Prepare maintenance and project cost estimates.
• Monitor maintenance and fit-out budgets.
• Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Support annual maintenance planning and capital expenditure forecasting.

• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and facility performance.
• Standardize maintenance practices across all locations.
• Recommend new materials, technologies, and methods that improve efficiency and reduce long-term costs.

Reports To

Facilities & Projects Manager

• Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, fit-out, or construction projects.
• Experience in restaurants, cafés, retail, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, finishing materials, and maintenance practices.
• Experience managing contractors and multiple project sites.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of building regulations and safety requirements.
• Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
