Job Summary

The Senior Material Controller is responsible for overseeing material planning, inventory control, material tracking, storage, and distribution activities for Oil & Gas projects. The role ensures the availability of project materials, maintains inventory accuracy, and coordinates with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and project teams to support efficient project execution.

• Manage and control project materials from receipt through storage, issuance, and utilization.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials for project activities.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and construction teams regarding material requirements.
• Maintain accurate material records, inventory reports, and stock registers.
• Track material movements and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
• Conduct material reconciliation, inventory audits, and stock verification activities.
• Monitor material shortages, surpluses, and discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Review material requisitions, delivery schedules, and inventory reports.
• Ensure proper storage, preservation, and handling of materials.
• Prepare material status reports and provide updates to project management.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, company procedures, and HSE requirements.
• Support project planning and material forecasting activities.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience as Material Controller / Senior Material Controller.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, material control, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination.
• Experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management tools, and reporting.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and organizational skills.
