Overview

Al-Qadsiah Club is seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of Social Media to oversee the club’s digital presence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and social media, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead and inspire a team. This individual will be responsible for shaping and executing the social media strategy to enhance the club's online presence, fan engagement, and brand visibility.

This role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead the social media function, define the club’s digital voice, and deliver impactful, high-quality content across key moments, campaigns, and sporting milestones. Working at the intersection of sport, entertainment, and culture, the successful candidate will drive audience growth, strengthen fan engagement, and position Al-Qadsiah Club as a leading digital presence, while operating in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment with strong opportunities for ownership, creativity, and career growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Social Media Strategy Development
    • Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, fan engagement, and drive club objectives.
    • Develop campaigns that align with club events, promotions, and sports seasons.
  • Content Creation & Management
    • Oversee content creation, including graphics, videos, and copywriting, to ensure alignment with the club's brand identity.
    • Manage the editorial calendar for social media platforms, ensuring timely and relevant content.
  • Community Engagement & Growth
    • Engage with fans and followers across platforms by responding to comments, messages, and managing fan interactions.
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow the club’s social media following across various platforms.
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
    • Produce monthly reports with insights and recommendations to improve social media performance.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead and mentor a team of social media specialists and content creators.
    • Collaborate with marketing, public relations, and other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all platforms.
  • Requirements Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
    Experience
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in social media management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Previous experience in the sports industry or managing social media for sports teams or brands is highly desirable.
    • Experience with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, etc.) and their algorithms.
    Skills
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, analytics, and tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creativity and ability to think outside the box to drive engagement and brand recognition.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Strong understanding of fan behavior and the ability to tailor content to sports enthusiasts.
    Preferred Certifications
    • Social Media Marketing Certification
    • Adobe Creative Suite or similar
