Your role
The QC Inspector / QC Engineer is responsible for the quality of produced materials, equipment, process at local sub-contractors and the final product at our Atlas Copco production facility of engineered product. To ensure good engineering practice is always maintained inside the team in line with the quality control and assurance requirements (QA/QC) of the company work in line with any internal or external specifications applicable to the work being inspected.
You will monitor production and service activities, identify non‑conformities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct product audits and QC inspections, ensure Incoming goods are checked to be in line with quality control requirements, identify & report quality defects as Non-conformities to ensure that they are tracked and traced for both sub-supplied product and finished equipment and ensuring closure through root cause analysis and follow ups on the corrective action implementation. When all test and inspections have been executed satisfactorily the QC Engineer issues an inspection release note.
- Execute and/or witness all required test and inspections, in-process fabrications, assembly and final inspection/ final functional test and ensuring design validation and product compliance through built equipment, issuance of reports and certificates as required in line with technical requirements specified in the technical design dossier and inspection and test plan
- Prepare inspection reports, punch lists and other supporting documentation during inspection visits.
- Attendance of Quality Control inspection meetings where it is required to give official assistance (ASME, IEC,ATEX ,CSA-UL, Welding requirements, Painting)
- Review and maintain the inspection and test plans for applicable projects
- Along with supply chain team attended sub-supplier audits to ensure Supply chain is in line with Quality control requirements for the company and for the specific project requirements if applicable.
- Suppliers meet all requirements in regard to the quality processes and procedures applicable to their produced equipment.
- Write and issue audit reports on sub-supplier visits.
- Expedite sub-vendors, as required during quality visits.
- Attendance of meetings in line with the order management process where QC support is required.
- Ensure tools calibration and lifting inspection logs are maintained.
- Ensure Compliance to ISO 9001 through implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of documents, calibration system, non conforming product controls and internal audits.
- Review designs, specifications, drawings, and manufacturing process to ensure compliance, quality and capability
- Ensure operations comply with Atlas Copco SHEQ policy, safety rules, environmental standards, and customer requirements Complies with safety requirements

You have technical university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in the fields/ role of QC or QA roles, preferably in manufacturing, industrial services, or equipment maintenance.
Non-negotiable skills- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Hands‑on experience with precision measurement tools.
- Basic understanding of relevant industry codes and standards.
- Accuracy in measurement, attention to details and technical reporting skills.
- Familiarity with quality systems and tools such as ITPs, NCRs, CAPA, calibration, NDT, etc.
- Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety field.
