Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing mechanical preservation and quality control activities for static equipment in onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.
Ensure preservation, storage, and protection of static mechanical equipment and materials in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and international codes.
Support project quality assurance by monitoring preservation procedures, documentation, and inspection activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and verify preservation activities for static mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping systems, and structural components.
Ensure proper storage, protection, and preservation procedures are followed for equipment and materials during fabrication, transportation, and installation stages.
Review and verify material certificates, inspection reports, and preservation records in accordance with project requirements.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES / SAEP) and project quality procedures.
Identify non-conformities or preservation issues and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams, project engineers, and contractors to ensure quality compliance.
Maintain accurate inspection reports, preservation logs, and quality documentation.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality procedures during inspection and preservation activities.
ARAMCO Approved Mechanical Preservation / Static QC Inspector.
CBT (Computer-Based Test) certification preferred, however candidates with ARAMCO approval without CBT are also acceptable.
Previous Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory.
Relevant inspection certifications such as CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, BGAS, or equivalent QA/QC certifications will be an advantage.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical preservation or static equipment QA/QC inspection.
Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or EPC projects.
Experience working on onshore and offshore projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of static equipment preservation procedures, inspection methods, and quality standards.
Familiarity with static equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES / SAEP) and international inspection standards.
Ability to review technical drawings, preservation procedures, and inspection documentation.
Strong documentation, reporting, and coordination skills with project teams.
