Job Summary
The Supervisor – QC Piping is responsible for ensuring all piping fabrication, installation, and testing activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and Saudi Aramco quality requirements. The role oversees quality control execution on-site and ensures adherence to approved procedures and inspection plans.
Roles & Responsibilities- Supervise and execute QC activities for piping fabrication, erection, and installation works
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, ITPs, approved drawings, and applicable codes (ASME, API, ISO)
- Conduct inspections for material receiving, fit-up, welding, NDT, hydrotesting, and reinstatement
- Coordinate with construction, welding, and NDT teams to ensure quality requirements are met
- Review and maintain QC documentation, reports, and inspection records
- Ensure implementation of ISO quality management systems and project quality plans
- Interface with client, Saudi Aramco representatives, and third-party inspectors during inspections and audits
- Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and ensure corrective and preventive actions
- Support internal and external audits and ensure continuous quality improvement
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
- At least 3 years of experience as QC Supervisor – Piping
- ISO Lead Auditor certification
- Saudi Aramco approval (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of piping standards, welding procedures, and inspection techniques
