Job Summary
The QC Structural Inspector is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring the quality of structural works in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and Saudi Aramco requirements within oil & gas projects.
Roles & Responsibilities- Inspect structural fabrication, erection, and installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and standards
- Perform quality inspections for steel structures, welding, bolting, and structural assemblies
- Review material certificates, inspection reports, and quality documentation
- Coordinate with construction, welding, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Conduct site inspections and witness tests as per Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco quality standards and project specifications
- Raise NCRs and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare quality reports
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Proven experience as a QC Structural Inspector
- Saudi Aramco approval is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of structural codes, standards, and inspection procedures
