QA​/QC Static Inspector - Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of static equipment, pressure vessels, tanks, and piping to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, codes, and standards.
• Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and non‑destructive testing (NDT) to identify defects and ensure structural integrity.
• Review and verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and welding quality to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.
• Monitor and control quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, material certificates, and welding records.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to project specifications and client requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on quality‑related matters to project teams and contractors.

• Proven experience with NDT methods such as UT, RT, and PT.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication and report writing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, enabling effective identification and resolution of quality issues.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration within project teams.
• Physically fit and capable of working in various environments, including heights and confined spaces, for site inspections.
• Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, and EN.
