Job Summary
The Inspector – QC (Piping) is responsible for ensuring that all piping fabrication, installation, testing, and inspection activities comply with project specifications, client requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards within Oil & Gas projects. The role ensures quality compliance, inspection integrity, and adherence to Saudi Aramco requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities- Inspect piping fabrication, installation, and testing activities in accordance with approved procedures and project specifications.
- Verify materials, dimensions, alignments, fit-up, and piping assemblies before installation.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, isometric drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
- Review piping inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
- Conduct inspections during fabrication, erection, hydrotesting, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and client representatives to resolve piping-related quality issues.
- Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco quality requirements and project specifications.
- Support audits, client inspections, and quality reviews.
- Ensure adherence to HSE and quality management system requirements.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience as a QC Inspector – Piping.
- Saudi Aramco Approval – Mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of piping inspection procedures, construction standards, and quality requirements.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, piping layouts, and engineering documents.
- Experience in piping fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
