Role Description

The Mechanical Welding QC role is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Khobar. The individual in this role will perform daily inspections of welded and mechanical components, verifying compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and welding procedures, conducting visual and dimensional checks, documenting findings, and preparing inspection reports. The role also involves coordinating with engineers, supervisors, and welders to resolve nonconformities, recommending corrective actions, and supporting ongoing maintenance and quality improvement activities.

The Mechanical Welding QC will help ensure that all welding and mechanical work is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and client requirements.

Qualifications
  • Must have Aramco CBT qualification in mechanical and welding.
  • Must have Saudi market experience
  • Hands-on experience with Inspection activities for mechanical and welded components, including visual, dimensional, and quality checks.
  • Familiarity with relevant quality, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., welding codes, inspection procedures).
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to prepare clear inspection reports.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional site personnel.
  • Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; welding or QC certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site across the kingdom and perform physical inspection tasks in industrial environments.
