Pastry & Kitchen Commis - Entry-Level Housing

A globally recognised Italian dining group is preparing for a high-profile opening in Riyadh and is hiring junior kitchen talent across both pastry and hot-kitchen sections. This is a structured entry-level opportunity within a professional, high-volume operation focused on classical techniques, consistency, and team discipline. Successful candidates will work alongside experienced chefs in a standards-driven environment with clear training pathways.

This recruitment covers two roles under one listing, with five positions in total:

• Pastry Commis x 3
• Kitchen Commis x 2

• Assist in daily pastry and dessert preparation in line with established recipes and standards.
• Support mise en place, basic baking, and plating under senior pastry chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Store ingredients correctly and assist with stock rotation.
• Follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced production environment.

• Support senior chefs with prep and service in the hot kitchen.
• Carry out basic cooking tasks according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness and comply with HACCP requirements.
• Assist with ingredient preparation, portioning, and stock control.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade during service.

• Previous kitchen or pastry experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Willingness to learn, follow direction, and work in a disciplined brigade.
• Ability to work long hours on your feet in a high-volume environment.
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Candidates must be available to start 1 February (or shortly thereafter).
• Good English skills.
