As the Software Engineer at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will develop and maintain Al Qadsiah’s in-house dashboard application, and cloud infrastructure supporting the increased use of data within the First Team and Academy. This role will enhance the club’s technology infrastructure and data‑driven decision‑making processes.

Application Development

• Develop and maintain an in-house dashboard for football analytics.
• Implement front‑end and back‑end solutions.
• Design user‑friendly interfaces and improve usability based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability to handle increasing data loads.

Data Management and Integration

• Design and manage data pipelines, integrating multiple sources using Python and SQL.
• Maintain and optimize databases (MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL).
• Deploy and manage cloud‑based solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
• Ensure cloud security, networking, and infrastructure reliability.
• Optimize cloud resource allocation for cost efficiency and scalability.
• Manage cloud‑based storage solutions for high‑performance data access and retrieval.
• Manage the Kubernetes / Docker ecosystems

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with data and video analysts, coaches, performance and technical staff to deliver effective tools.
• Present technical solutions to non‑technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant field
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

• Proficiency in Python and data visualization libraries (pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, Plotly, Dash)
• Experience with Django and API development (Flask, FastAPI)
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Big Query, Cloud Networking, Google Kubernetes Engine)
• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Git Hub for version control
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced football environment
• Ability to present and explain technical solutions to non‑technical stakeholders
• Strong SQL (MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL) knowledge
