Senior Frontend Developer

You will be responsible for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces, collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers and product owners to deliver high-quality web applications.

• Implement clean, modular and reusable
  
  UI componentsfollowing best practices and design guidelines
• Work with designers to translate
  
  UI/UX prototypesinto functional, pixel-accurate interfaces
• Integrate frontend components with
  
  RESTful APIsand backend services
• Optimize applications for performance,accessibility andSEO(where applicable)
• Write and maintain unit testsand/orintegration teststo ensure code quality and reliability
• Participate incode reviews, provide feedback and maintain high engineering standards
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions
• Contribute tofrontend architecture, tooling and development processes (linting, build pipelines, CI/CD etc.)

• 5+ yearsof professional experience as a Frontend Engineer/Frontend Developer
• Valid SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) certificate (or eligibility to obtain) is required for this position
• Hands-on experience with Reactand/or Angularin production projects
• Familiarity withstate management(e.g., Redux, NgRx, Context API or similar)
• Experience with responsiveandadaptivedesign, including grid systems and media queries
• Understanding ofRESTful APIsand client–server communication
• Experience with frontend build toolsand package managers (Webpack, Vite, npm, Yarn etc.)
• Knowledge ofversion control systems, especially Git
• Basic understanding oftesting frameworks(Jest, React Testing Library, Jasmine, Karma etc.)
• Good understanding ofweb performance,security basics andaccessibility principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in acollaborative, agile environment
• Good written and spoken
  
  English(for communication with distributed teams and stakeholders)
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Native Arabic communication skills

• Experience with
  
  Type Script
• Experience working with design system sand component libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Prime
  
  NG etc.)
• Familiarity with
  
  UX principles, basic prototyping or design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Experience integratinganalytics,monitoring orloggingon frontend
• Exposure toCI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices for frontend applications
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

The usual working hours for full-time roles at EPAM in Saudi Arabia are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break. Working hours may vary based on client requirements and flexibility is accommodated whenever possible.
