Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable main dealer in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their professional workshop team.

- Up to £36,000 basic salary depending on experience

Duties:

- Service, maintain, and repair a diverse range of vehicles
- Conduct diagnostics and fault finding
- Complete larger mechanical repairs such as wet belts and major repairs
- Perform vehicle health checks and report additional work required
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and deadlines
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and company standards

Requirements:

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or busy workshop
- MOT Tester licence highly desirable or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to undertake complex mechanical repairs preferable
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Full valid UK driving licence
