Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated Year 2

Class Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Kidderminster from January 2026. This is a part-time role that will run until July 2026, with the potential to continue into the new academic year.

We are looking for a teacher with strong KS1curriculum knowledge, a passion for creating engaging lessons, and the ability to maintain high expectations for both learning and behaviour. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and marking, contributing to the continued success and progress of the Year 2cohort.

This role is part-time, working either Mondays/Tuesdays or Thursdays/Fridays, as part of a job share.

• Delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students, in line with the National Curriculum.
• Encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve high standards, grow as individuals and nurture values
• Planning and marking work to ensure students’ academic progress.
• Supporting students in their personal, social, and academic development.
• Ensuring a positive and productive learning environment with excellent behaviour management.
• Collaborating effectively with staff to create a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching in Primary Education, particularly with KS1.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• A passion for creating stimulating and engaging learning experiences.
• Excellent classroom management skills.

• Competitive pay: £162.30 to £223.62 daily (£31,650 to £43,607 annually).

This Year 2

Class Teacher position is based in Kidderminster, easily accessible from surrounding areas including Wolverley, Blakeshall, Kinver, and Blakedown. The school offers on-site parking and is conveniently located with excellent transport links.
