The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Kidderminster College to recruit enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Practitioners to join their growing support team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of learners by providing high‑quality, personalised support across a range of courses and learning needs.

We are seeking Learning Support Practitioners on a Supply FE Bank (sessional) basis. Roles will be offered based on skill set, availability, and departmental requirements.

The Role

As a Learning Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting learners to access their studies, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Providing one‑to‑one and small‑group support for learners across a range of subjects
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs, including SEND, EHCPs, and learning barriers
  • Assisting lecturers with classroom activities, differentiation, and inclusive learning strategies
  • Helping to create a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
  • Encouraging learner confidence, engagement, and progress
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support teams, and external professionals
What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from:

  • Experienced Learning Support Assistants or Practitioners
  • Individuals with backgrounds in education, youth work, care, or support roles
  • Candidates seeking full‑time or part‑time opportunities
Essential / Desirable
  • Experience supporting young people or adults in an educational or support setting
  • Understanding of SEND, learning barriers, and inclusive support strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with learners
  • A patient, adaptable, and learner‑focused approach
  • Relevant qualifications in learning support, education, or care (desirable)
  • Experience working in Further Education (desirable)
