This is an excellent opportunity to inspire the next generation of creative digital professionals by delivering high-quality teaching and supporting learners to achieve their full potential in games design and development.
About the Role
As a Games Design Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will:
Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Games Design programmes, including Level 2 provision,
Plan and prepare learning activities that meet awarding body and curriculum requirements,
Support learners in developing creative, technical, and industry-relevant skills,
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learner experience and curriculum delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Experience with in Games Design, Games Development, Digital Media, or a related creative industry,
Knowledge of games design principles, development tools, and creative technologies,
Strong communication and organisational skills,
A passion for supporting and developing learners,
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
