The role of Production Manager is to lead and manage the factory team. Whilst ensuring safety first, adopt a data & process driven approach combined with developing a work place culture & team that enjoy delivering ever improving performance in quality, efficiency & customer satisfaction.

Description

Lead and manage the shop floor team
Motivate and engage the team
Actively listen to team members, addressing concerns and championing their (good) ideas.
Coach all team members to be the best they can
Monitor and manage performance
Promote a team work approach
Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out correctly
Structured data and process driven approach
Accurate recording of data
Identify and quantify opportunities
Implement durable solutions
Put in place effective or improved processes
Demonstrate sustained improvements
Deployment of lean/CI tools and techniques
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement sustained solutions
Ensure all spend is required and none wasted
Focus on cost and ensure agreed budgets are beaten

Profile

You will be an experienced Production Manager/Leader, ideally from a Manufacturing background, along with:

A change agent, motivated by desire to make things better and aim for operational excellence

Job Offer

£50,000 - £55,000/annum
