About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and ensuring products meet the highest standards.
Working within a quality-focused environment, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards across the business, ensuring products and processes comply with required specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of components, products, and processes to assess quality and compliance with specifications.
- Working and supporting and enhancement of existing quality control procedures.
- Record inspection results.
- Investigate non-conforming products, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Analyse quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with departments across the business to resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational performance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- A good understanding of quality management systems, processes, and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
