Weighbridge Operative

Hourly Rate – £12.74 per hour
Hours – 40 hours per week (including weekends and bank holidays)
Location & Postcode – Envi Recover, DY10 4JD

• Operating the weighbridge system and accurately recording all vehicle and waste movements
• Ensuring all documentation, including transfer notes, is completed correctly
• Monitoring and managing site traffic to ensure safe and efficient turnaround
• Checking that all waste carriers are registered and compliant
• Greeting drivers, visitors and contractors in a polite and professional manner
• Supporting the receipt and dispatch of site materials
• Completing daily checks on equipment and reporting any defects
• Assisting with inductions and maintaining accurate site records
• Maintaining site security and adhering to all Health & Safety procedures

• Good understanding of Health & Safety and environmental requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to deal with a range of people
• Computer literate with the ability to use operating systems
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Experience in a similar role or operational environment (desirable, not essential)
• A reliable, flexible and detail-oriented approach
