Caretaker​/Handyman

Position: Caretaker / Handyman
Branta Recruitment are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker / Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of a busy static site in Kidderminster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practical skills who takes pride in ensuring buildings and facilities are safe, well-presented, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out general building maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements across the site.

* Perform basic plumbing, joinery, decorating, and minor electrical duties.

* Provide timely response to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.

* Support site safety by conducting regular checks, identifying hazards, and taking corrective action.

* Assist with room set-ups, furniture moves, and general caretaking duties as required.

* Maintain tools, equipment, plant rooms, and storage areas in a clean and organised manner.

* Liaise with contractors and report any larger repair requirements.

About You

* Previous experience in a caretaker, handyman, or multi-trade maintenance role.

* Comfortable with basic trade skills including painting, joinery, plumbing, and electrical repairs.

* Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.

* Positive communicator with a customer-focused approach.

* Health & Safety awareness with a practical, problem-solving mindset.

* Reliable, organised, and able to support both planned and reactive tasks.
