Company Overview
Alloyed is a young venture‑funded company built with world‑class metallurgists, mechanical engineers, technicians, and software developers. Operating from our HQ in the UK but also globally, we are building the future of advanced metal components. Our innovative approach integrates proprietary software that combines advanced machine learning and physical modelling with extensive experimental facilities, enabling us to 3D print metal components more efficiently and effectively than anyone else.
Our facilities in Yarnton and Abingdon, near Oxford, are dedicated to establishing the world’s fastest, smartest, and best‑equipped environment for the rapid development of additively manufactured parts and the creation of novel metal alloys for enhanced performance.
We serve a variety of sectors including electronics, aerospace, and industrial by leveraging our cutting‑edge technology to build businesses across diverse markets, each with unique requirements, timelines, customers, and cultures.
Role OverviewArgive, a division of Alloyed is currently designing microturbine engines for a range of jet propulsion applications. The products use additive manufacturing to increase performance compared to state‑of‑the‑art incorporating complex designs and proprietary high‑temperature materials, including nickel superalloys.
Alloyed is seeking a motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the development of microturbines, focusing on the mechanical design of engines. This role involves close collaboration with experimental teams to validate and improve designs.
