Interim Project Accountant - 3 Month Contract

Oxford Duration: 3 months Robert Half Ltd are pleased to be working with a business based in Oxford that are looking for a project accountant to join the team on an interim basis for an initial 3-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can quickly add value, build strong relationships across the business, and provide commercial financial support during a key period.

The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter, able to operate independently and partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders. You will play a key role in providing insight, challenging costs, and supporting effective business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and support decision-making Challenge costs and assumptions to drive improved commercial outcomes Support budgeting and forecasting activities Provide analysis and reporting to support business performance Build strong relationships with non-finance teams and act as a trusted advisor Quickly understand business requirements and deliver value from day one

About You:

Previous experience in a similar role Strong business partnering skills with the confidence to challenge stakeholders

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently Ideally professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), although strong QBE candidates will also be considered Available to start at short notice or with a short notice period Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
