Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual with a genuine passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist within our Beaumont Veterinary Group practices.
Practice Site:
Beaumont (Kidlington, Headington and Botley)
Location:
Working across our three Beaumont Veterinary Group sites:
Kidlington, Headington and Botley Road.
Contract:
Permanent
Hours:
8 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
Saturdays only
Availability:
Occasional weekday overtime may be available and flexibility to support this would be welcomed.

About the RoleDay-to-day duties will include:
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- And most importantly, providing a warm, professional and welcoming experience to all clients visiting the practice
- Previous receptionist experience is essential; veterinary experience is an advantage
- Resilience and the ability to handle potentially emotional or distressing situations
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of empathy
- Outstanding customer service skills and confidence working with the public
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database or operating systems
- A driving licence is desirable; ability to travel locally between sites would be ideal
- Salary in line with the National Minimum Wage
