Asan Engineering Intern ,youhavetheopportunitytoapplyyouracademicknowledgeandtraininginareal-world setting.

Undersupervisionofa Project Engineer ,Project Manageror Estimator ,youwillbeassistingwithconstruction-relateddutiesincludinglayout,form design,andsubcontractmonitoring.

Youwillalsobeassistinginchangeorderpreparations,plan checking,document control,qualitycontrolandsafetymonitoring.

ThisexperiencewillhelpyoutolearnwhataGBIprojectengineerdoesonadailybasis.

• Assist Project Manager /Project Engineers/Estimatorswithallconstructionrelatedduties.
  
  Performavarietyofphysicalandmentaltasksonconstructionprojects.
• Assist Project Engineer and Project Managerintrackingworkhourutilizationandproductivity .
• Maintain up-to-datefileorlibraryofmaterialsuppliers,currentlaborlaws,equipmentrentalratesandqualifiedsubcontractorsbycategory.
• Mayassistfieldpersonnelinavarietyofmanualtasksonconstructionprojects.
• Ordersuppliersandothermaterials,asneeded.
• Maycoordinatematerialdeliveriesandsubcontractworkinaccordancewithprogressscheduleandadjustasnecessaryduetochanges.
• Mayresolveorassist Project Engineer and /orProject
  
  Managerinresolving,designanddetailproblemswithowners,design agencies,suppliersandsubcontractors.
• Mayattendsubcontractorjobmeetingsandotherconstructionmeetings
• Preparecostbreakdown,reviews with
  
  Project Engineer and Project Managerforconcurrenceandmakesadjustmentsasnecessary .
• Prepareperiodiccompletiondataforjobcostreportandmonitorprintoutstocorrectpostingandothererrors.
• Preparedataformonthlyinvoices,forcedaccountsheets,pay estimates,monthly increases,back-charges,if applicable,andsubmitsto

• Assurethatdetailsandsubmittalsarereceived,submittedandprocessed.
  
  Supervisesubmittalofcontroldata.
• Preparespecialreportsasrequestedby Project Engineer and /orProject

• Reviewtimecardsdailyandcommunicateanydiscrepanciestothepayrollclerk.
• Answerthephonesandperformsotherclericalwork(suchasscreeningtelephonecalls,takingaccuratemessages,faxing,copyingandfiling).

• 12-weekpaidinternshipsstartingat$18to $25hourly.
• Cellphonereimbursementisprovided.
• Mileagereimbursementisprovidedforeligiblebusinessrelatedtravel.
• If eligible,weofferfull-timehourlynon-exemptemployeesandtheirfamilies,medical,dentalandvisioncoverage,pluswellnessincentivesandlimitedpaidsickleave.

• CandidatesmusthavethelegalrighttoworkintheUSwithoutemployersponsorship.
• Mustbecurrentlypursuingabachelor’sdegreeinconstructionmanagement,civil engineering,orrelatedmajor,fromanaccrediteduniversity.
• Travelmayberequired.
• Valid driver’slicenseisrequired.
