Job Description & How to Apply Below

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is looking for a Drafter/CAD Operator to support a customer out of Kihei, Hawai'i.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create, modify, update, and maintain accurate and up-to-date CAD models and CAD record drawing sheet sets that are representative of existing conditions (as-built) of facilities, infrastructure, and leased property for all RP and RPIE for past, present, and future projects to include contracted and subcontracted work.
  • Baseline all CAD drawings for the site. This will include a comprehensive survey of the facilities, land and utilities and old project documentation to the level appropriate for building accurate as-builts of all the facilities, utilities and land.
  • Create new CAD models in cases where previous reference drawings (electronic & hardcopy) do not exist to support the functional needs of CE by performing field work to gather required model data and measurements.
  • Create standardized as-built CAD sheet sets and plot files in order to accurately produce prints with accurate line weights and colors to support the routine functional needs of CE. Sheet sets include but are not limited to:
Site plans, Floor Plans, Roof Plans, Utility Plans, Irrigation Plans, Landscape Plans, Pavements Plans, Fire Alarm Plans, Storm Water Plans, Site Security Plans, Facility, HVAC Plans, Custodial Floor Plans, Electrical Single-lines, Facility Lighting Plans, Facility Controls Plans, Facility Security Plans, Facility Electrical Plans, Facility Plumbing Plans, Fire Sprinkler System Plans, Designated Tobacco Area Plans, Facility Emergency Lighting Plans, Facility Evacuation & Rally Point Plans, and Chilled Water Systems and Process Water Loops.

  • Create new CAD models and drawing sets that accurately represent conceptual ideas and plans for RP and Building Equipment (BE) or Asset Record modifications, upgrades, and construction as requested by CE and/or to support planning of Work Tasks (WT) and Facility Projects. These new drawings are often in support of Government planning efforts and may require several revisions/iterations to reach a final concept and may require changes over time to reflect updates/modifications from the Government’s planning activities.
  • Create new CAD models from pre-existing CAD models by altering, updating, merging, or transferring data to a new accurate as-built model of RP and Building Equipment (BE) or Asset Record.
  • Organize, name, version-control, file, and archive all CAD/GIS deliverables (native DWG models, sheet sets, plot files, supporting GIS/spatial data, and as-built packages) in Autodesk Vault, designated share drives, and/or the Government CADD/GIS repository strictly in accordance with the A/E/C CAD Standard, Air Force CADD implementation guidance, SDSFIE metadata requirements, and installation-specific drawing numbering, layer, and filing conventions.
