Summary:

The Maintenance Technician supports key processes and projects at the Camfil facility. Responsibilities include installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics (PLC, drives, welding preferred).
  • Disassemble equipment, perform repairs, welding, and fabrication.
  • Assist in equipment start-up.
  • Manage work orders and inventory using a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Maintain awareness of equipment status and foster a culture of urgency.
  • Investigate reliability issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Perform general facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, etc.).
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures and regulations.
  • Be available for daily/weekly overtime and cross-training within the facility.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred. 2-5 years of experience if no certification.
  • Ability to read safety and operational manuals; work with mathematical concepts.
  • Apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions practically.
  • Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
  • Interpret instructions in various formats.
  • Stand and walk continuously for 4 hours; handle products and reach frequently.
  • Lift/move up to 50 pounds; operate forklifts and aerial platforms.
Work Environment:

Exposure to office, warehouse, and plant settings. PPE required in certain areas. Access to all facility departments necessary.
