* Position Overview:

** Threads pipe as needed for compressor units.
** Responsibilities/

Job Duties:

*** Installs threaded piping to Engineering specifications
* Cut and thread pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws and pipe threaders
* Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible
* Adhere to company policy, procedures, and rules
* Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate protective gear
* Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
* Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirements
* Need minimal instructions of pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
* Perform various other duties as assigned## Qualifications
* Ability to read isometric pipe drawings
* Familiarity with manufacturing/fabrication processes
* Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
* Ability to read and use a tape measure in US units (not metric)
* Ability to read and use a level
* Ability to use hand tools and power tools
* Welding knowledge such as GMAW/MIG hard-wire
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Competency test:
Cut and thread a piece of pipe. Use it to build a small piping assembly from a drawing.

* Physical Requirements:

*** Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, and use ladder for long periods of time daily
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Vision required: 20/40 with or without corrective lenses to accurately read all related distribution documents
** Working Conditions
*** Subject to outdoor and plant environment with adjusting temperatures and climate
** Upon Employment:
*** Complete a Safety overview from the EHS & Facilities Manager
* Complete a Quality overview from the Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Manager
