Responsibilities- Develop and optimize CNC programs using G-code and modern CAM platforms to maximize production efficiency.
- Execute intricate machine setups, including precise fixturing and tooling selection, to ensure repeatable accuracy.
- Produce high-tolerance components utilizing a variety of metals, including steel and specialty alloys.
- Verify part integrity by performing detailed inspections against technical blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Proactively identify and resolve machining challenges to minimize downtime and maintain workflow continuity.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior operators to elevate overall team performance.
- Document production metrics and inspection results to ensure full traceability and compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a CNC machining environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual G-code programming.
- Proven ability to consistently achieve tight tolerances within ±0.001".
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or related field.
- Advanced experience with CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360.
- Background in manufacturing downhole tools or similar heavy-duty industrial components.
