Elwood Staffing is hiring a Shipping Forklift Operator in Kilgore, TX! Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm $17.50/hr

Shipping Forklift Operator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 17.50 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)
- Some OT and some Saturdays
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping instructions
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments and report any discrepancies
- Maintain warehouse organization, keeping work areas clean and safe
- Use scanners, inventory systems, and shipping software to prepare shipments and update records
- Adhere to all safety procedures and warehouse policies
- Work with team members and carriers to ensure on-time shipments
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Shipping Forklift Operator
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
- Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Experience with shipping software (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
