Job Description:
TLM Consultant, Developer
We are looking for a consultant with strong hands‑on experience in building and supporting reconciliations on the TLM Premium 2.5 or higher platform. The candidate is expected to have good knowledge of the various types of reconciliation controls (Nostros, Depos, Inter Accounts, Inter System, FOBO, FOCL) for different Capital Markets asset classes, and will need to understand the business and build reconciliations for these controls.
Candidate must have –
- Reconciliation build experience using TLM Premium 2.5 or higher.
- Strong Oracle database development skill and hands‑on experience with Unix shell scripting commands.
- Production support experience is a plus.
- Exposure to any reporting tool (BIRT, Crystal, SAP BO, etc.).
- Experience with Unix Solaris and Linux shell scripting (bash/Vi Editors/Power Shell).
- Perform comprehensive requirement analysis, development, testing (UNIT/SIT/UAT), and implementation of reconciliations on the TLM Premium 2.5 or higher platform into the production environment.
- Demonstrate expertise in Smart Stream TLM tool with hands‑on experience on TLM Premium 2.5 or higher.
- Have detailed hands‑on experience with TLM tools such as Smart Studio, Smart Schema, Recon Admin, Web Connect, Control & CT tools.
- Show proficiency in Oracle (especially TLM table knowledge) and write SQL stored procedures.
- Understand TLM database table linkages for analyzing production issues from the backend.
- Implement exception management and break allocation automation on the TLM platform.
- Be well versed in Unix shell scripting, frequently used UNIX commands and the Vi editor.
- Validate TLM services, usage, and logs for debugging.
- Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions for reconciliation and end‑user reports using Oracle database.
- Provide production support on a rotational basis.
- Apply Oracle database troubleshooting skills, including profiler usage and database backup procedures.
- Have environment knowledge such as troubleshooting Windows issues, understanding Unix logs, Linux/Unix/Solaris services, patching, server maintenance, application installation, building environments, security patching, and network maintenance.
- Be familiar with Agile and Dev Ops culture.
- Communicate effectively with end users and clients to resolve challenges during build or testing.
- Possess knowledge of automated deployment tools as an added advantage.
The Role
- Advanced knowledge working with TLM tools such as Smart Studio, Smart Schema, Recon Admin, Web Connect, Control & CT tools.
- Solid SQL experience on Oracle Database and performance optimization.
- Understanding of complex DB objects – stored procedures, database views, triggers, and database structure.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries, including joins, updates, and analytical scripts.
- Experience in automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a Dev Ops product/service team, fostering continuous improvement.
