Position Overview

Dongjin Semichem Texas Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and logistics coordination. The Logistics & Warehouse Manager will ensure safe and efficient handling of raw materials and finished products, maintain compliance with applicable regulations, and support overall production goals.

This role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to optimize warehouse operations in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Oversee and coordinate logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of chemical materials in compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices for safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth material flow and meet production schedules.
  • Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and ensure proper operator training.
  • Establish performance metrics and continuously seek process improvements to reduce costs and improve service levels.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, logistics costs, and inventory accuracy.
  • Support emergency response and incident management related to warehouse or logistics operations.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned by executive leadership.
Requirements / Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse/logistics management, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and logistics coordination.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance related to hazardous materials (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP/WMS systems a plus.
  • Forklift certification and experience managing warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Bilingual in Korean a plus.
  • Based in Killeen, Texas.
