• Promotes a positive patient experience by demonstrating caring behaviors, maintaining clear communication, and collaborating with the care team to provide safe, timely, and effective whole person care.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrates appropriate use of PPE, performs hand hygiene according to policy, and enforces safety regulations.
• Ensures the appropriate use and stewardship of medical supplies and equipment to support patient safety and operational efficiency; administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Performs related duties such as IV management in the neonate, lab collection, respiratory care and management, preparing delivery room for infant transition and care, and medication administration.
• Provides education and support to parents and family regarding infant care and appropriate bonding.

• Associate's of Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's of Nursing
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
• Registered Nurse (RN) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
