Pain Specialists of America (PSA) is a Texas-based, multisite comprehensive pain management company with over 15 locations. We are seeking talented professionals to support the business and help it achieve its strategic objectives.
We are seeking a high-energy, compassionate and excited Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic team at the Killeen Clinic location. This position is available for part-time or full-time hours.
Essential Functions- Perform physical exams and patient observations.
- Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
- Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
- Detect changes in a patient’s health and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Administer medicines and treatments.
- Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
- Consult with healthcare professionals.
- Train patients and families on managing pain.
- Manage health problems and coordinate health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and nursing standards of care.

- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program. Must have RN licensure in Texas and be board certified by either ANCC or AANP.
- Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but not required.
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience and credentials (required).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires long periods of sitting, with moderate standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
