Nurse Practitioner

Pain Specialists of America (PSA) is a Texas-based, multisite comprehensive pain management company with over 15 locations. We are seeking talented professionals to support the business and help it achieve its strategic objectives.

We are seeking a high-energy, compassionate and excited Nurse Practitioner (or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic team at the Killeen Clinic location. This position is available for part-time or full-time hours.

• Perform physical exams and patient observations.
• Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
• Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
• Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Detect changes in a patient’s health and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Administer medicines and treatments.
• Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
• Consult with healthcare professionals.
• Train patients and families on managing pain.
• Manage health problems and coordinate health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and nursing standards of care.

• Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program. Must have RN licensure in Texas and be board certified by either ANCC or AANP.
• Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but not required.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience and credentials (required).
