About the Position

Adelphi is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing services to students at a school in Killeen, Texas.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the school administration to provide nursing services to students in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice.

• Valid RN License
• Pediatric care experience is preferred
• Spinal Screening, Hearing Screening, Vision Screening and CPR Certifications

• Perform injury and illness assessment
• Provide first aid and emergency response
• Manage chronic illness care and administer medications
• Document services in Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Conduct Special Education (SPED) and Texas DSHS hearing and vision screenings
• Maintain professional communication with parents, teachers, and administrators
• Enforce exclusion procedures (for illness and communicable disease)
• Travel between campuses when required
• Any other assigned duties.
