Family Practice​/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Job description

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner in Killeen, TX to perform non-treatment disability assessments for U.S. Veterans applying for VA benefits. This is a low-stress role with no ongoing care, no prescribing, and no treatment required just focused clinical evaluations.

• Location :
  Killeen, Texas
• Schedule :
  Monday through Friday, 800-400
• Daily Volume : 3-5 Veteran assessments per day
• Pay Rate : $500 per day
• Start Date : ASAP following credentialing and VA-required training

• Complete one-time, non-treatment medical exams
• Review medical records related to Veterans' disability claims
• Submit reports electronically within 24 hours of the exam
• Help facilitate the timely processing of VA benefits

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (any state)
• No treatment or prescribing duties
• Prior experience in clinical assessments is a plus, but not required
