Your Day at Lowe'sYou will welcome customers, help them find the right products and services, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
- Down stock merchandise by replenishing supplies.
- Process orders and deliveries accurately.
- Cross‑functionally train in other areas to deliver the best customer service.
- Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
- Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- 6 months experience using a computer.
- 6 months experience common retail technology (smart phones, tablets).
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting.
- Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
- Retail and/or customer service experience.
- Bi‑lingual skills.
- Certification in trade related to department.
No regular travel; occasional travel to meetings, training, or support neighboring stores.
Working ConditionsIndoor and outdoor weather conditions. Exposure to varying climate, noise, etc. Lifting guidelines up to 75 lbs single, team lifts, powered equipment as required.
