What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site policies.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and other Allied Universal personnel to support a secure environment for employees, patients, and visitors.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, including medical situations, alarms, or disturbances, in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification Texas Only is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
