Availability to work as needed. Hours and Natchaug location may vary based on program needs. Typical shifts occur:
Mon.

- Fri; 11:30 am - 6:30 pm.

Natchaug’s Joshua Center Programs treat children as young as 6 and as old as 17 who are struggling with psychiatric or substance abuse issues, but do not require inpatient care. Services include comprehensive assessment, aftercare planning, family, group, and individual therapy, occupational and creative rehabilitation therapy. Natchaug Hospital provides transportation from school to the Joshua Center Program, and then to the student’s home.

The Mental Health Worker provides therapeutic interventions for clients and participates as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in adherence to hospital policies and core values. Provides transportation from school to the Joshua Center program, and then to the student's home with company vehicles.

• Previous experience with behavioral health clients preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years related experience required.
• Current CT Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a Public Service License "A" Endorsement within 90 days of hire, which requires pre‑hire drug screen and DOT physical exam.
• Must have and maintain a telephone number for scheduling.
• Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills required.
