Compensation
GBP 35,000 - GBP 40,000 per year
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team based in Kilmarnock. The role will support the business by providing guidance, support, advice and governance on all SHEQ related subjects.
Responsibilities- Assist and promote the local & external audit programme.
- Help to ensure the business is compliant with all HSE/S Regulations, company policies and the BMS across the business.
- Provide SHEQ advice and support at an operational level.
- Assist in the identification of site SHEQ training needs.
- Communicate and engage with key stakeholders.
- Support the SHEQ upskilling and development of the business operational teams.
- Promote SHEQ initiatives and innovations across their Project.
- Ideally hold, or be in advanced stages of working towards a relevant professional qualification such as NEBOSH General.
- Prior experience in SHEQ, health and safety or work in construction, utilities, DNO or ICP environment would be advantageous.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing and producing SHEQ reports for managers and clients.
