An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Primary Care Nurse within our Community Treatment Care (CTAC) service based in General Practices within East Health and Social Care Partnership working as part of an integrated nursing team model and wider General Practice multidisciplinary team.
HoursFrom 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings. 30 hours per week working Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
RequirementsUK Driving Licence/Car Ownership
Full UK driving licence is essential to this role.
The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the assessment and delivery of quality person centred nursing care and defined nursing interventions, primarily in a Community and Treatment Room Setting, to a practice population.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job- 1st level Registered Nurse, currently registered with the NMC
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the post
- IT skills
- Experience in a General Practice/Primary care/ Treatment room environment
- Awareness of patient health needs in relation to primary care
- Good understanding of relevant legislation and policies
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent communication skills
