2 Personal Care Assistant – Driver, located in Stewarton. Pay rate £13.70 per hour, 16 hours per week with optional extra shifts for A/L and sickness. Shifts may include overnight stays.
Role OverviewYou will support a 49‑year‑old gentleman with MS living in his own apartment, assisting with all aspects of his daily care and routines, including personal care, social support, continence care, medication, mobility and transfers using a tracking hoist. Additional duties include light housework and driving for social activities and appointments (clean driving licence preferred).
Shift Schedule- 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
- 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Assist with personal care and night‑time routines.
- Provide medication support.
- Assist with mobility and transfers (double handling).
- Encourage and support independence where possible.
Catheter care experience preferred; training will be provided. Experience with peg feeding preferred, but training can be given.
