Are you a compassionate, patient and reliable individual who wants to make a real difference in someone’s life? We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Support Workers to join our friendly team at Invercare.
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred care and support to individuals with but not limited to learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and physical disabilities.

Salary: £13.45 per hour
Job Type: Full-time available
Hours: full and part time
Key responsibilities- Provide personal care:
Assist with daily activities such as washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, where required. - Promote independence:
Encourage and support service users to make choices and live as independently as possible. - Support daily living:
Help with meal preparation, cleaning, shopping, and managing medication. - Emotional support:
Offer companionship, build trust, and provide reassurance and encouragement. - Monitoring and reporting:
Observe and record changes in physical or emotional health, and report concerns to senior staff. - Community involvement:
Assist individuals in accessing the community, attending appointments, or participating in social activities. - Safeguarding:
Ensure the safety and well-being of service users, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of support provided and outcomes achieved.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Experience in a similar role or relevant qualification for health and social care but not essential as training will be provided.
- There is a requirement for sleepovers for this role
- Do you have access to your own car?
- care: 1 year (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- right to work with more than 6 months (preferred)
In person - will consider walkers for walking run
