AboutThe Role
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a shopping centre’s operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning, tenant satisfaction, and financial performance, while also managing staff, security, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities Operations Management- Oversee daily activities, including security, maintenance, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Manage tenant relationships, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to lease agreements.
- Handle customer and employee issues and complaints.
- Manage the collection, processing, and disposal of waste, maintaining appropriate records.
- Credit control
- Develop and implement budgets and financial plans.
- Monitor revenue and expenses, ensuring profitability.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Address employee issues and concerns.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies and promotional events.
- Collaborate with tenants to organize in-store events.
- Monitor and analyse customer traffic and spending patterns.
- Ensure the safety and security of the shopping centre and its occupants.
- Liaise with law enforcement and other stakeholders on security matters.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and systems.
- Prepare reports and presentations on centre performance.
- Attend management meetings and represent the shopping centre at industry events.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
