The Dairy Flow Dealership Manager reports to the Senior Director, Country Manager Farm Technologies UK and is responsible for the overall performance, operation and continued growth of the Dairy Flow dealership.

This is a broad leadership role with responsibility across sales, service, installation, operations, people and financial performance. As the 'face' of the dealership, the Dairy Flow Dealership Manager will build strong customer relationships, identify opportunities for growth and ensure the business consistently delivers a high level of customer service.

Working closely with the Service & Installation Team Leaders, the role will ensure people and resources are effectively planned and managed to meet customer requirements while maintaining operational efficiency and cost control.

As an active member of the GEA Farm Technologies UK Management Team, the Dairy Flow Dealership Manager will also contribute to wider business objectives, while taking ownership of the dealership’s growth, profitability and performance.

Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and commercial performance of the Dairy Flow dealership, including the site, fleet and operational resources.

  • Lead, motivate and develop the Dairy Flow team, ensuring clear responsibilities, effective performance management and appropriate training and development.

  • Work closely with the Service & Installation Team Leaders to effectively plan resources across service engineering, projects and installations, maintaining high standards of efficiency, cost control and customer service.

  • Oversee warehouse and inventory management, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained to support both customer and operational requirements.

  • Take responsibility for local Health & Safety and QHSEE activities, ensuring compliance with GEA policies and standards.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, lead local sales activities and identify new business opportunities.

  • Develop and implement sales, marketing and business growth strategies in collaboration with the wider GEA Farm Technologies UK Sales and Business Development teams.

  • Drive sales performance and market share across relevant product groups within the territory.

  • Take ownership of local budgets, costs, financial targets and dealership profitability.

  • Monitor business KPIs and financial performance, using data to identify opportunities, drive improvements and provide accurate reporting to the Senior Director and wider management team.

  • Develop a strong network across the dairy and agricultural industries to enhance the profile of Dairy Flow and GEA Farm Technologies UK.

Your Profile / Qualifications
  • We are looking for a commercially minded, self-motivated leader who can combine strong sales leadership with hands-on operational management.

  • You will be a confident decision-maker, comfortable taking ownership of a multifaceted business and capable of leading and inspiring a team while maintaining a strong focus on customers, performance and growth.

  • A minimum of five years' relevant experience within the dairy, agricultural, engineering or equipment sectors is essential.

  • A relevant degree, BTEC or equivalent qualification in a technical, sales, agricultural, animal-related or other relevant discipline.

  • Demonstrable leadership and people-management experience.

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation and customer relationship management.

  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience of budgets, costs, profitability and business KPIs.

  • The ability to plan effectively, manage competing priorities and make confident decisions.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent IT and CRM skills.

  • A proactive, adaptable approach with the drive to develop both the business and the team.
